In these uncertain times, more and more of our families are making the understandable choice to drive their students to and from school. At the same time, our school population is growing. These two compounding factors have put a lot of pressure on our available parking spaces.
This is especially problematic for our designated (2 spaces) Accessible Parking places. These places are marked although they are quite faded and easy to miss. These two Accessible Parking places need to be left open for our families that require them.
Please consider using our lower parking lot for drop off and pick up (Kiss and Ride idea). Drop off is relatively easy. It is a little more difficult at the end of the day as parents have to park and wait for students. If parents stay to the left as much as possible, while in the lower parking lot, there should be room for parents to pass by safely after they have collected their students.
This is not an ideal solution to our congestion problem, but it should work and is much safer than parents parking on the 5th line.
Let's all work together to keep our Accessible Parking Spaces accessible and all of our students and families safe.
